Pauline ADO

30 yo

professional surfer

More than an athlete...

Pauline Ado was not born into a surfing family - but she was born in the generation where anything is possible. After a successful junior career where she clinched two world junior titles, Pauline’s thirst for victory coupled with a flair for tactical surfing, has seen her pierce the Top Ten of the World Championship Tour (World Top 17) in her rookie season. In 2017, she won the ISA World Championship and in 2019 she obtained her 7th European Champion title.

Being a pioneer in her sports, she has qualified for the Tokyo Olympic Games, the very first apparition of surfing as an olympic sport. She is now focused on Paris 2024!

In a fascinating daily life highlighted by trips around the world, trainings and competitions, Pauline has always wanted to keep a healthy lifestyle allowing her to live her life with passion and respect.

Pauline has always been more than an exceptional athlete. She is a woman fighting for causes that are important to her and to others. She is an ambassador for Surfrider Foundation, looking to protect the environment and oceans. By joining HandiSurf she also wants to bring more access to sports to people.

She does not see herself as an expert of environmental protection, but she is always looking to learn more and to gather as many people as possible with her to change our daily habits and bring a positive impact to the community.
